Rodney T. Reed has been a life long Oregonian and throughout his life one thing has been a constant, his love for the great outdoors and all it has to offer. Not one to be kept indoors for long, this love prompted him to start Green Earth Landscaping Inc. over 25 years ago with a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The business has been under the same ownership over the entire time.

Green Earth Landscaping Inc. started like many businesses with only a handful of employees but has now grown into an experienced mid-sized landscape contracting company with 30 employees. Green Earth has the experience(10 year average tenure amongst foremans) and equipment to complete any outdoor project while being the right size company to ensure that all details are considered and that their is ample oversight on every project. Green Earth has always resisted growing beyond the present level so that project quality would never be compromised.

Homeowners, property managers, general contractors, landscape architects and designers are among the many clients that Green Earth provides services to. Many of Portlands top landscape architects have used Green Earth for their own residences!

The Green Earth shop/yard is located on 7 acres in an industrial part of Hillsboro just off of Cornelius Pass Road with easy access to HWY 26. This makes it easy to access all of our Portland/Vancouver area clients. Much of the quality materials that make a beautiful landscape(pavers, stone, gravel, bark, compost) are stockpiled at the shop or at our Helvetia area 10 acre plant nursery.
